When I decided to go to USA to learn mixed martial arts, three places were in my list: Los Angeles, Seattle, and San Diego.
These cities had very good MMA gyms at that time, so I have checked them out before choosing where to settle in.
In Los Angeles, I passed a restaurant made of glass before arriving the gym I wanted to see.
Looking at the restaurant unintentionally, I saw a waiter cleaning a table at a corner.
He noticed me seeing him, then gave me a friendly smile that made me feel good.
After visiting the gym, I again passed the restaurant and saw the waiter working.
He also found me and this time he waved at me gladly.
I felt that he was glad to see me again even from the other side of the big street by his way of waving.
I could not see which gym was the best among the three, but since the friendly waiter in Los Angels made an impression, I decided to live in LA.
A moment of friendliness and smiles, this is the prologue of my chronicle of vagabondism.
